The Fujifilm Lens Hood for LH-X10 Camera attaches to the front of the lens on the Fujifilm LH-X10 camera. It acts as a sunshade, keeping out unwanted light and helping to prevent glare. It also guards the lens against impact if you get a little too close to your subject, as it sticks out a bit from the front of the lens. The hood will not block the camera's viewfinder.
