Behind its tough exterior lies a sophisticated camera offering the outstanding imaging power of a 12 megapixel CCD and HD Movie capability - thanks to the advanced MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 movie compression format .

With Olympus' powerful new software solution called [ib] that comes with the Mju Tough 3000, you can retouch and perfect images as well as organise and create your own personal or family collections and categorise by person, event, location, date or theme with ease. Tag your family and friends in your photos and the software will automatically recognise them throughout your album and apply the tags. Dates, occasions and locations can also be tagged, making it easy to surf and store your images in convenient albums.

Then, with 1GB of internal memory, you can simply import a selected album onto your Mju Tough 3000 and use the camera as a portable photo album. Connect it up to an HDTV with an HDMI cable and you can surf your images on the TV with the TV's remote control.
