Translucent Mirror TechnologyT
Everything is better with speed
Be assured that you'll always capture the perfect shot with speed and precision on your ?35. Translucent Mirror Technology is a revolutionary Sony technology that allows the camera to focus and shoot at the same time. Unlike regular DSLR cameras, the mirror in the ?35 doesn't move, removing the time it usually takes to take a shot after focusing.
7 Frames Per Second
Tele-zoom for high-speed shooting
Get in on the action and capture up to 7 frames per second (fps) with Continuous AF in High-Speed Shooting mode on the ?35. Tele-zoom also enables continued perfect focus while zoomed into a 1.4x* close-up, while exposure and other parameters are optimized for dynamic imagery.
*Image size is 8.4 mp in this mode, with aperture fixed at F3.5 or the maximum aperture of the lens in use, whichever is smaller.
Full HD Video Recording
Make movies like a professional
Unlike regular DSLRs, the ?35 offers fast, accurate and continuous focus on moving subjects using Phase-Detection AF, to easily create professional-looking movies. A benefit of Sony's Translucent Mirror Technology, this allows tracking of subjects on the move without delay and greater clarity, in Full HD.

Add personal style to your images
Have fun with Picture Effect on the ?35 using the various filters and tools for creative expression. There are seven processing types and variations for a total of 11 easy-to-use settings that can be applied to images directly from your camera.
3D Sweep Panorama
Be in awe of amazing scenery
Vast imagery of panoramic scenes can be recreated in 3D with this feature on the ?35. Sweeping across the landscape you want to capture, images of left and right eye views of the scene will be taken, and come to live when played back on a compatible 3D television.
