This monitor is ideal for professional video and photo editing, offering exceptional colour accuracy with 99% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage. Its built-in colour calibrator and ColorNavigator 7 software ensure consistent colour management. The compact design provides more vertical space, reducing scrolling. USB-C connectivity simplifies setup with video, data, and power over one cable. The light-shielding hood and uniform colour accuracy enhance productivity. Rapid stabilisation ensures immediate use, and the ergonomic stand adds comfort.
Designed primarily for professional video and photo editing, the EIZO ColorEdge CG2400S 24.1" Full HD HDR Monitor delivers exceptional colour accuracy and versatile connectivity. With a built-in colour calibrator and support for 99% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage, this compact 1920 × 1200 resolution display is ready to bring creative visions to life.
In addition to its space-saving design, connecting a compatible laptop via the USB-C port allows video, data, and up to 70 W of power to be delivered over a single cable. HDMI and DisplayPort inputs are also available. The built-in USB hub lets you connect flash drives, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals directly through the monitor. An included light-shielding hood helps block distracting ambient light, making it easier to achieve consistent results.
With a 1920 × 1200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio, the display provides more vertical viewing space than traditional Full HD monitors, reducing the need for scrolling.
The 24.1" IPS panel delivers 10-bit colour, 99% Adobe RGB, 98% DCI-P3 coverage, and a 16-bit LUT. HLG and PQ HDR support delivers sharp contrast with a 1800:1 static contrast ratio and 400 nits brightness.
Equipped with a 3D LUT (look-up table) that adjusts colour using an RGB cubic table. Using ColorNavigator 7’s film emulation function, users can emulate film colour properties from a 3D LUT file.
Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gb/s) ports and two USB-A 2.0 ports are conveniently located on the side of the monitor for easy access.
The built-in sensor can be scheduled to calibrate the monitor automatically, eliminating the need for an external calibration device. The sensor swings onto the screen while taking up minimal space, allowing you to continue working during calibration.
Regular calibration is essential to maintain colour accuracy. EIZO’s ColorNavigator 7 software offers an intuitive solution, allowing automatic recalibration scheduling, simultaneous calibration of multiple colour modes, and correlation with external sensors. Calibration data is stored directly on the monitor rather than the operating system, so recalibration is not required when switching computers.
ColorNavigator Network enables centralised quality control for studios, print houses, and production environments with multiple creators. Administrators can manage multiple ColorEdge monitors via a web browser, even remotely. The system is hosted on a secure cloud server, removing the need for on-site server infrastructure.
Preset modes for DCI-P3, BT.709, and BT.2020 ensure correct colour spaces and gamma values. Additional presets for PQ (DCI and BT.2100) and HLG (BT.2100) are available for HDR workflows. Brightness settings for each preset can be maintained using the built-in calibration sensor.
Support for HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) and PQ (Perceptual Quantisation) enables accurate HDR video editing. These optimised gamma curves better reflect how the human eye perceives contrast and brightness compared to SDR.
Compliant with DCI standards, the monitor offers a 1800:1 contrast ratio for producing deep, accurate blacks. A specialised retardation film ensures tones retain depth even when viewed off-axis.
The Sync Signal function automatically adjusts brightness, gamma (EOTF), and colour gamut based on the input signal’s metadata, removing the need to manually switch settings between projects.
An optional PQ gamma (EOTF) function allows signals to be clipped or compressed to match the monitor’s luminance. The Auto setting adjusts the PQ curve based on current brightness to simulate different viewing environments.
The PQ Option function highlights clipped areas when viewing content at specific brightness levels, marking them in yellow or magenta for easy identification.
A Gamut Warning preset identifies areas of BT.2020 images that cannot be reproduced in BT.709 by converting them to greyscale. A BT.709 Clipping mode simulates how BT.2020 content will appear on standard HDTV displays.
Pixel Inspection displays colour information from the source signal and how it is rendered on screen, helping avoid errors that could lead to rework or production delays.
Marker functions ensure correct placement of text and graphics. Safe Area Markers can be customised to ensure captions and graphics remain visible during broadcast.
Each monitor is factory-calibrated by measuring RGB gamma values from 0–255 and applying the 16-bit LUT to achieve smooth, accurate tonal transitions.
EIZO’s patented Digital Uniformity Equaliser (DUE) corrects brightness and chromaticity variations across the screen for consistent colour accuracy.
Temperature sensors and AI-driven correction algorithms adjust display characteristics in real time to maintain colour accuracy despite environmental temperature changes.
Unlike conventional monitors that require up to 30 minutes to stabilise, the CG2400S achieves stable brightness and colour performance in just 3 minutes.
A lightweight, magnetically attached hood is included to reduce glare from ambient lighting without the need for assembly.
The included stand supports height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, with a quick-release mechanism for easy removal of the display when needed.
