This equipment insert is designed to organise camera gear within compatible Shimoda backpacks and rollers. It accommodates up to two medium-sized cameras and multiple lenses or a drone kit. Its non-abrasive interior and padded dividers protect equipment, while a zippered side opening offers easy access. The protective foam construction ensures durability, and the included Skin cover shields from dust, allowing for standalone use or integration into larger bags.

This Parisian Nights-colored Medium Mirrorless Core Unit Version 2 from Shimoda Designs is an equipment insert that enhances the ability to organize the contents of a Shimoda Designs Action X30 Backpack, Action X50 Backpack, Action X70 Backpack, Carry-On Roller Version 2, and DV Roller. Designed to store camera, video, audio, or digital media equipment, it can accommodate up to two medium-sized DSLR or mirrorless cameras along with six lenses; or two medium-sized DSLR or mirrorless cameras along with two lenses, plus a medium-sized drone kit.

Equipment Arrangement

Equipment placed within this insert's non-abrasive interior can be arranged using its six padded, touch-tab dividers. To further complement a compatible backpack, the Medium Mirrorless Core Unit Version 2 also features a zippered side opening that aligns with the backpack's own zippered side opening for seamless accessibility to the equipment inside when the backpack is rotated from one's back to front with the right side facing upward.

Core Unit Features

This Core Unit features a soft, protective closed-cell foam construction and includes a Shimoda Designs Skin. A zippered cover with a top handle, the Skin protects the Core Unit from dust and allows it to be used independently, whether on its own or within another larger bag or case.
