Designed for both digital and film cameras, the Lux Junior II adds TTL capability while retaining the much-loved Auto mode from the original Lux Junior. Using its built-in metering sensor, Auto mode automatically adjusts flash output based on your camera's ISO and aperture settings. A 2.5mm sync port also allows connection to selected film cameras with PC sync sockets, providing reliable flash exposure in low-light conditions.
The Lux Junior II includes a built-in 2.4GHz wireless receiver, allowing it to be triggered remotely with an optional Godox X-series transmitter, such as the X3. It supports A, B, C and D groups, 32 channels and IDs 1–99 for flexible multi-light setups.
Unlike its predecessor, the Lux Junior II features an internal 7.4V 700mAh rechargeable battery with a recycle time of approximately 1.5 seconds to keep pace with fast-moving subjects. Power output is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/128 in 1/3-stop increments, providing approximately 400 full-power flashes per charge. Recharge via the included USB-C cable using an optional 5V, 2A USB power adapter.
The dual-axis rotating design allows the flash to rotate up to 180° for both horizontal and vertical shooting, while the head tilts up to 90° with bounce positions at 30°, 45°, 60°, 75° and 90°.
Included are magnetic full CTO and half CTO colour filters, along with a magnetic diffuser for softer, more natural lighting. Additional magnetic modifiers are available separately as the MA02 Kit.
