The Sony FE 600mm F6.3 GM OSS puts serious 600mm super-telephoto reach into a remarkably lightweight and mobile design. Weighing just 995g, this G Master prime is made for handheld shooting and photographers who need to stay on the move, making it an outstanding choice for wildlife, birds, sport, aviation and other distant subjects.

Its advanced G Master optical design uses Super ED and ED glass elements to deliver excellent sharpness and control chromatic aberration, while Nano AR Coating II helps minimise flare and ghosting. An 11-blade circular aperture produces smooth bokeh and natural subject separation, while the F6.3 maximum aperture helps keep the lens compact and manageable in the field.

Dual XD Linear Motors

Dual XD Linear Motors provide fast, precise and quiet autofocus, with support for continuous shooting at up to 120fps on compatible Sony Alpha cameras. Optical SteadyShot offers three stabilisation modes for general shooting, panning and unpredictable moving subjects, while the lens is carefully balanced towards the camera body for comfortable handheld tracking.

For even greater reach, the FE 600mm F6.3 GM OSS supports Sony's 1.4x and 2.0x teleconverters, extending the lens to 840mm F9 or 1200mm F13 while retaining autofocus and auto exposure.
