Pre-Trigger Cables (-P models)

Pre-Trigger Cables (-P models) have a switch for Normal or Pre-Trigger mode. Pre-Trigger keeps the camera "awake" - just like pressing the camera's shutter release halfway continuously. The camera responds more quickly and consistently (but uses batteries more rapidly).

The PocketWizard CM-N3-P Remote Cable is for cameras with Canon E3 connector or sub-miniphone (2.5mm or 3/32", stereo or mono). Pre-Trigger.

This cable contains a Pre-Trigger Switch

This cable contains a Pre-Trigger Switch. When enabled, the camera behaves as if the camera's shutter release button were held half-pressed continuously. This makes the camera respond more quickly and consistently, but also consumes the camera's batteries much more quickly. When disabled, this cable functions identically to the CM-E3.
