Protect and customize your Sony a7 V, a7R V, or a7 IV rig for any run-and-gun shoot with the HawkLock Quick Release Half Cage from SmallRig. Multiple 1/4"-20 and ARRI 3/8"-16 threads, plus a HawkLock-style side NATO rail, allow for the mounting of secondary monitors, articulating arms, or other accessories to increase the recording quality of your camera. A cold shoe mount at the top of the half cage offers an additional mounting point for accessories such as a shotgun microphone or wireless receiver.
The cage is constructed with durable aluminum, steel, and silicone for a durable, anti-slip design that doesn't impede access to your camera's controls, battery, and stock handgrip. An integrated Arca-type baseplate with a 1/4"-20 screw and locking side plate secures the camera in place and allows for easy transitions from handheld to a tripod or compatible gimbal stabilizer. A strap slot and QD socket provide mounting for an optional strap or lanyard.
