The SmallRig 6706 L-Shaped Mount Plate for Sony Alpha 7R VI is designed to speed up transitions between horizontal and vertical shooting. It attaches to the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw and includes protective pads to prevent scratches, with a contour shaped to sit comfortably in the hand.
Retractable Side Plate
The upper side plate is retractable by 24mm, giving flexible cable routing without blocking the camera's side ports, and includes a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for mounting a ball head magic arm to support multi-angle or dual-camera setups. A hinged arm at the battery compartment improves ergonomics and adds pinky finger support.
Arca-Swiss & Gimbal Compatibility
An integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom gives seamless compatibility with Arca-type tripods and DJI stabilizers, including the RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 Mini, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 Mini, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5, for fast switching between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups. A QD socket is also included for attaching quick release shoulder straps.
