The JJC CU-XLM2 Camera Umbrella is for protecting your camera from rain, snow, sunlight, bird poop, etc., which fits almost all camera hot shoe mounts.
Mounting and Adjustability
It is easy to mount to the camera by simply sliding into the hot shoe mount and rotating the locking knob to secure it. The ball-and-socket joint provides 360° of swivel control and is tiltable down to a 90° angle. It allows you to freely rotated or tilted to adjust the angle of the umbrella by loosening the locking knob on the side of the ball head. The ball head can be quickly swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position by releasing the primary locking knob.
In addition, the joint has a cut notch on the side that allows you to tilt down the umbrella within 90°. As a result, you can rotate the camera umbrella to any position to block the elements. The side of the ballhead is equipped with a cold shoe, which allows you to install the external flash light, microphones, and other devices. The diameter of the umbrella is 19.7''/ 50cm.
