With very little aberration even at the corners of the image field, it assures excellent ease of viewing in many different photographic situations.

The Pentax DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL WR lens is a standard zoom lens that has a focal length equivalent to 27.5mm to 84.5mm in 35mm film format. It features an optical system with a high-performance aspherical lens and Anomalous Dispersion Glass is used for correcting various types of aberration and enabling full edge-to-edge lighting and sharp resolution. Furthemore, the lens simple drip-proof construction prevent water from getting into the lens.
