Precision Meets Motorsport
Inspired by the technical precision and performance of Formula 1, this edition features a black Microvelour covering, carbon-fibre details and distinctive red accents on the controls. Formula 1 branding appears on the top plate, lens cap and carrying strap, giving the camera an unmistakable identity.
- Exclusive accessories include a carbon-fibre thumb support, soft-release button and wireless charging handgrip with an Arca-Swiss-compatible mount.

Exceptional Full-Frame Image Quality
At its heart is a 60MP back-illuminated full-frame CMOS sensor paired with Leica's Maestro IV processor. Together, they deliver exceptional detail, natural colour reproduction and impressive performance across a wide range of lighting conditions.
Triple Resolution Technology allows photographers to capture images at 60MP, 36MP or 18MP in DNG or JPEG format, using the full sensor area at each resolution. An ISO range of 50 to 100,000 provides further flexibility when shooting in challenging light.
APO-Summicron 43mm f/2 ASPH. Lens
The integrated APO-Summicron 43mm f/2 ASPH. lens delivers a natural perspective particularly well suited to portraiture, street photography and everyday documentation. Its apochromatic optical design minimises chromatic aberration while maintaining exceptional sharpness and clarity.
The bright f/2 maximum aperture allows precise control over depth of field and supports photography in low-light environments. An integrated macro mode enables close focusing down to approximately 26.4 cm.
Versatile Photography and Video
The Leica Q3 43 Formula 1 Edition supports digital crop settings equivalent to 60mm, 75mm, 90mm, 120mm and 150mm, offering greater framing flexibility without changing lenses.
For video creators, the camera supports recording up to 8K at 30p, 4K at 60p with 4:2:2 10-bit colour, and Full HD recording in Apple ProRes 422 HQ. Optical image stabilisation helps maintain sharp images and steady footage.
Intuitive Handling and Connectivity
A high-resolution 5.76-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides a clear and detailed viewing experience, while the tilting 3-inch touchscreen makes composing images from different angles easier.
The magnesium-alloy body features IP52-rated protection against dust and water ingress. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, together with the Leica FOTOS app, allow convenient image transfer, remote operation and camera management.
