The Z5IIC Features

The Z5IIC features a 24.5MP FX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED 7 processor, along with sensor-shift image stabilisation, fast subject-detection autofocus and continuous shooting at up to 30 fps. Its low-profile design removes the electronic viewfinder and centres shooting around the 3.2-inch vari-angle touchscreen, while video capabilities include 4K recording up to 60p, internal 12-bit N-RAW and 10-bit H.265 recording.

Included in this particular kit is the NIKKOR Z 24-105mm f/4-7.1, with a maximum aperture of f/4 at 24mm and f/7.1 at 105mm. The 4.4x zoom range provides plenty of flexibility in a relatively compact lens, while a minimum focusing distance of approximately 20 cm at the wide end and up to 0.5x maximum magnification between 70-105mm add useful close-up capability.

The lens uses a 12-element, 10-group optical design incorporating one ED and two aspherical elements. An STM stepping motor provides fast, quiet autofocus, while the customisable control ring can be assigned to functions including aperture, ISO, exposure compensation or manual focus. At approximately 350 g, the 24-105mm f/4-7.1 keeps the overall kit practical for everyday carry.
