Kase Wolverine Magnetic ND1000 90mm round filter for K9 filter holder

The Kase Wolverine Magnetic ND1000 (10 stop) neutral density filter is designed to slot into the K9 filter holder instead of the circular polariser if you are not using this. You can then stack a graduated filter (or two) into the K9 holder in front of this. Alternatively you can use the ND1000 directly with the geared adapter rings onto your rings without the holder attached.

The ND1000 filter reduces light by 1000 times to enable you to increase your exposure time significantly, e.g. a 1/8 second exposure becomes 2 minutes, or 1/30 second exposure becomes 30 seconds.

This is beneficial for creating smooth water at waterfalls or in seascape scenes, and to create cloud movement in the sky.
