This 55mm magnetic ND1000 filter offers enhanced creative control for photographers and videographers, allowing for slower shutter speeds to capture motion blur or shallower apertures to achieve stunning background bokeh. It's part of a colour-coded system for easy identification and quick swaps, compatible with Wolverine filters. Made from shock-resistant optical glass with a water-resistant coating, it's easy to clean and durable. The filter also supports conventional filters with front threading.

Features

The 55mm KW Revolution Magnetic ND1000 Filter from Kase is part of the color-coded KW Revolution filter system, which is based on the earlier Wolverine series design and is fully compatible with Wolverine filters. The overall KW Revolution system features CPL and different grades of ND filters, including color-coded filter frames for easy identification and swapping. The ND1000 filters, including this 55mm version are color-coded red.

Neutral Density and Image Control

Increasing neutral density offers finer control in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a slower shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement. Increasing density also makes it possible to shoot using shallower lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background and increase bokeh. This level of image control can help to create more cinematic effects in low to bright light.
