The 77mm magnetic ND1000 filter offers enhanced control over shutter speed and aperture settings, perfect for achieving cinematic effects. Its shock-resistant optical glass ensures durability, while the water-resistant coating makes cleaning easy. The filter is colour-coded for quick identification and is compatible with Wolverine filters, making it versatile for both still and video shooting. It includes a magnetic mounting ring for effortless swapping and can be used with conventional filters.

Features

The 77mm KW Revolution Magnetic ND1000 Filter from Kase is part of the color-coded KW Revolution filter system, which is based on the earlier Wolverine series design and is fully compatible with Wolverine filters. The overall KW Revolution system features CPL and different grades of ND filters, including color-coded filter frames for easy identification and swapping. The ND1000 filters, including this 77mm version are color-coded red.

Neutral Density and Image Control

Increasing neutral density offers finer control in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a slower shutter speed makes it possible to increase blur to convey a sense of movement. Increasing density also makes it possible to shoot using shallower lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background and increase bokeh. This level of image control can help to create more cinematic effects in low to bright light.
