This red #25, 67mm Kase Wolverine Revolution B&W Filter with Magnetic Adapter can be used to increase image contrast in black & white photography applications. When using this filter, green and blue subjects are reproduced in darker shades of gray than if a filter was not used. Simultaneously, yellow, orange, and red subjects are rendered in lighter shades of gray. Landscape photos show greatly enhanced views of the distance and higher tonal separation in photos of objects that are blue and green rendered very dark. When shooting landscapes, shades of green foliage can be more differentiated, and this filter can also minimize the haze caused by the bluish cast of daylight.
Filter Features
This filter is made of optical glass and features a three-stop reduction in light transmission. The tempered, durable optical glass is shockproof and easy to clean. The included magnetic adapter ring lets the filter be attached or removed in just seconds and allows up to four Kase Wolverine magnetic filters to be stacked. The magnetic ring accepts standard 67mm lens caps, so it can be left on the lens.
