This 77mm ND filter offers an 8-stop exposure reduction, enabling longer shutter speeds or wider apertures for better control over depth of field and movement. It maintains image colour, making it ideal for combining with other filters. Multi-layer coatings reduce reflections and enhance durability, while a Nano coating ensures efficient cleaning. Made with SCHOTT B270 glass, it provides excellent clarity and colour fidelity. The brass ring adds durability and prevents jamming, and side knurlings offer a secure grip.

Features

The Benro 77mm Master Series ND 2.4 Filter is an ND filter with a 256x filter factor that provides an 8-stop exposure reduction. Its 2.4 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By increasing your aperture or slowing your exposure time, you can control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

Anti-Reflection Coating

To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes multiple layers of anti-reflection coating. These coatings also offer greater protection to the filter substrate and help it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The Nano coating associated with Benro Master Series neutral density filters provides an additional 13th layer over each side of this filter, resulting in an improved beading effect when in contact with water for greater cleaning efficiency.

Construction and Features

This filter is constructed from SCHOTT B270 glass for increased optical clarity as well as color fidelity and features a brass filter ring for enhanced durability and to prevent jamming.
