This filter offers outstanding UV protection and natural colour rendition with over 98% light transmission, ensuring sharpness and high contrast in photos. Its extremely thin, durable glass design prevents vignetting, even with wide-angle lenses, and an eight-layer coating resists scratches and reduces reflections. The lotus effect repels water and dirt. A slim, black brass mount allows smooth handling and supports attaching a lens hood or cap, maintaining lens safety.
Features
UV cut off filter with natural colour rendition and more than 98% transmission on average within the complete visible range (420-700 nm). Can also be used permanently to protect the front element of the lens.
Optical Filter Glass
Extremely thin, hardened optical filter glass with plane-parallel grinding and extremely smooth polishing providing for lossless sharpness and maximum contrast. Eight layer scratch-resistant multi-coating on both sides reduces reflections and avoids scattered light. Additional optically neutral coating with water and dirt repelling properties (lotus effect).
Mount and Compatibility
Slim-line mount made of matt black finished brass for optimum smooth movement. No vignetting with wide angle lenses. Additional front thread for attaching a lens hood or a lens cap with the filter in place.
