The three supporting ribs of the blades are wrapped with soft silicone to prevent scratches on the lens barrel edge. When the camera is powered on, the three blades of the auto lens cap open automatically as the lens extends, allowing you to shoot without removing the cap and eliminating the risk of losing it. When the camera is powered off and the lens retracts, the blades automatically close, providing protection against dust, moisture, and scratches.
