For shooters who need to quickly switch between various stabilizations systems, the SnapLock Plate Adapter from PGYTECH couldn't be any easier. The clamp accepts a male Arca-Swiss SnapLock plate with a spring-loaded latch, then locks in place with the slide of a button. To remove, slide the button to unlock, then press it to release the SnapLock plate from the adapter.
Adapter Mounting
The bottom of the adapter mounts on the standard 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 male threading on a tripod or gimbal. The ideal scenario is to have a plate adapter mounted on each of your supports to seamlessly transition your camera from one clamp to the other.
Quick Release System
The SnapLock system is designed for speed and simplicity. Using a simple spring-loaded clamp, the camera can be mounted with just one motion. It doesn't require the extra locking step to hold steady, but that option is available for extra security.
