The Zhiyun-Tech CRANE-M3 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer offers 360° pan, 309° tilt, and 333° roll rotation across seven modes of operation, including follow, pan-follow, POV, portrait, GO, lock, and Vortex modes, and it can also be adjusted manually if required. It runs for approximately eight hours using its built-in 1150mAh battery that's rechargeable using an included USB Type-C cable, and you can also power the gimbal using a power bank while operating the gimbal. The colour OLED display confirms the selected operation mode, battery level, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi status, and other functions. Scale marks and memory locks help you balance the camera and lock the balance position for the camera used.
Over built-in Wi-Fi, the gimbal can sync up with a Wi-Fi-enabled camera that supports remote zoom, shutter, and video start/stop control, or you can utilize a camera control cable and the USB Type-C port on the baseplate to control the camera shutter and also power the camera. Over built-in Bluetooth, the camera syncs up with a free-download ZY Play mobile app for iOS and Android for additional capabilities. The app provides remote control over many functions of the gimbal and has filmmaking features such as time-lapse, panorama, and slow-motion capture. The integrated LED light allows you to utilise a fill light for your subject without the requirement of external lights.
