The two-way design allows the filmmaker at the receiver to remain in place behind the camera and communicate with the talent at the transmitters—making setting up and adjusting scenes quick and easy.
Built to handle rough-and-tumble on set environments, the lightweight, all-metal components include two bodypack transmitters with lavalier mics that plug into the 3.5mm input jacks. The second 3.5mm jack on each transmitter is for monitoring using the TRS or TRRS headphones of your choice (available separately). At the two-channel receiver is a 3.5mm output that's ready to connect to your DSLR/mirrorless camera or audio recorder using the supplied TRS cable. For mobile devices, a TRRS cable is also included. The second 3.5mm jack is for the included headphone with talkback functionality. The transmitters and receiver run on built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, giving you 19 hours of shooting time in the field.
The Saramonic Vlink2 RX is a camera-mountable dual-channel 2.4 GHz wireless receiver that allows you to record two wireless mics to your camera or recording device. It features a high-contrast OLED display and talkback function to the transmitters. The two detachable antennas can be rotated 360° for better reception. The receiver’s output can be toggled between mono and stereo modes. The 3.5mm headphone jack can be used for traditional monitoring or monitoring with talkback to the transmitters, and communication can be controlled by a mute button.
